Screenshots

Below you will find several screenshots of RenderPal V2, showing various aspects of it. This is by far not everything RenderPal V2 has to offer, but should give you a good idea about its intuitive user interface. Clicking on a thumbnail will open the screenshot in a new window.

MAIN VIEW
Main view

Main View - Normal

The main view (or server tab) of RenderPal V2, where all monitoring and controlling is done. It consists of the pool list, along with their assigned clients, the net job list and the net job chunk list.

Main view

Main View - View filters active

Again the main view of RenderPal V2, but this time with view filters activate, limiting the shown items (pools, clients and net jobs) to only those which match certain (user-defined) criteria.

RENDER SET
Main view

Render Set

The render set tab, where all render settings for a net job are made. This includes the scenes to render, the render settings overrides, as well as some path and filename related settings. Every net job starts its life here.

NET JOB EDITOR
Main view

Main settings

The main settings of a net job, like frame splitting and image slicing and the pool and client selection. Settings like the net job's priority, the renderer to use and how many parallel renderings should be executed on a client can also be found here.

Main view

Advanced settings

The advanced settings of a net job. These include restrictions for the net job dispatching, automatic chunk resubmission if a rendering has taken too long or not long enough and automatic frame checking, which can be used to search for missing frames once a job or chunk has been finished.

Main view

Net Job events

One of the most powerful features found in RenderPal V2 are the net job events, which can be used to execute a program, system command or even a Python script on certain net job events.

REMOTE CLIENT CONFIGURATION
Main view

Remote client configuration

In RenderPal V2, it is not necessary to configure each client by hand. The remote client configuration can be used to conveniently configure any number of clients at a time.

MANAGEMENT
Main view

Client management

The client management is used to manage all the pools and clients in your render farm.

Main view

User management

The user management allows you to manage your user accounts (which offer plenty of options and permissions); user accounts are used in the Remote Controller.

Main view

Custom renderer management

The custom renderer management allows you to add, edit and remove your own renderers. It is also possible to download and upload the entire custom renderers list from/to the server.

Main view

Update management

To update all installations of RenderPal V2 in your render farm, all you have to do is to add a new update to the update management - from there on, RenderPal V2 will do everything for you.

PATH MAPS
Main view

Path maps

Path maps, which can be defined globally, per pool and per client, are used to map an incoming path to something else. This is especially useful when using multiple operating systems.
